Welcome to Minnesota

We crossed the St. Croix River into Minnesota today & are staying in a B&B that was the original 1884 jail for Taylors Falls, MN. Almost 1700 miles beneath our tires. Wisconsin & the people we have met have been great. Look forward to similar experiences in MN.

Hi to both, already 1700 miles--it seems not that long ago (at least to me) when you just pedaled 1,000 miles. Hoping to hook up with you somewhere along the way--ND or Montana. Keep pedaling but enjoy today's rest. The "girls" send their kisses.

Wow-1700 miles! Most of us don't drive that far in the time it's taken you to pedal that distance. We hope you are enjoying your "luxury" rest stops at B&Bs in between camp sites. Stay safe and enjoy the unique way you are seeing our country!

Kathy and Gary,
John and I have been so inspiried by your e-mails. We are now looking at tandems - Went to Corner Cycle in Falmouth and will ride the owners soon. I rode from Vineyard Haven to Gay Head yesterday 45-50 miles - first time and thought of you both. I know I could do 40-50 miles per day now. Anyway, your have us both so excited - we want to buy a tandem soon. What kind of bike do you have? Any suggestions? Keep safe and know that there are many of us thinking about you and sending prayers for your safety. Love, Laurie Schreiber Edgartown COA and John Peipon
